Getting around Capri on foot is easy; simply take the funicular to reach the Piazzetta and head towards the Gardens of Augustus, from where you can admire the splendid Via Krupp and then visit the Certosa di San Giacomo.
Walk along Via Tragara and reach the Belvedere, from where you can admire the Faraglioni, or choose to walk away from the crowds along Via Matermania and reach the square of the Arco Naturale, continuing on to the staircase that leads to the Grotta di Matermania. Along the way, you'll find solitary villas, the most famous of which is that of the writer Curzio Malaparte.
